Product Description
Polydimethyldiallylammonium chloride (PolyDADMAC) is available in liquid and solid forms, depending on the product grade and formulation. The liquid form typically appears as a colorless to pale yellow viscous liquid, while the solid form is generally supplied as a white to light yellow powder.
PolyDADMAC is water-soluble and can form an aqueous solution, making it convenient to dilute, blend, and apply in water-based systems. Its cationic polymer structure makes it suitable for a range of water treatment applications, including coagulation, flocculation, and the removal of suspended particles, depending on the treatment conditions and formulation.

Application Scenarios
Poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PolyDADMAC) is a cationic polymer widely used in water treatment, wastewater management, and textile processing.
1. Water and Wastewater Treatment
PolyDADMAC is used in drinking water treatment to facilitate the removal of suspended particles and other impurities. It is also applied in industrial wastewater treatment, including effluents from textile dyeing, printing, and chemical manufacturing, as well as in municipal wastewater treatment. Depending on the treatment system and formulation, it can support decolorization, solid–liquid separation, filtration, and sludge dewatering.
2. Textile Dyeing and Finishing
In the textile industry, PolyDADMAC can be used as a formaldehyde-free cationic color-fixing agent to improve dye fixation and enhance color fastness. It is suitable for selected dyeing and finishing processes, helping reduce dye loss and improve the performance of treated fabrics, depending on the dye system and application conditions.
