Product Description
Nylon 6 (PA6) chips are typically supplied as milky white to slightly yellowish cylindrical or irregular pellets with a smooth surface. They offer good toughness, mechanical strength, and abrasion resistance and may have a characteristic mild polyamide odor.
PA6 has a melting point of approximately 220°C and forms a transparent to translucent molten material when heated above its melting range. It is insoluble in water but soluble in certain polar solvents, including formic acid and phenol.
With its combination of high impact strength, good wear resistance, mechanical durability, and processability, PA6 is widely used as an engineering thermoplastic in automotive components, electrical and electronic parts, industrial components, fibers, and other applications.

Application Scenarios
· Fiber Grade: Used for nylon textile fibers, hosiery, sportswear, carpets, industrial yarns, tire cords, fishing nets, and other technical textiles.
· Engineering Plastics: Used in automotive components, gears, bearings, electrical and electronic parts, power-tool housings, cable ties, and other injection-molded components.
· Film Grade: Used for food packaging films, multilayer films, and other flexible packaging applications requiring good mechanical strength and toughness.

Safety and Storage
PA6 resin is generally not classified as a dangerous chemical in its finished form. During injection molding, extrusion, and other high-temperature processing, small amounts of residual caprolactam or other volatile compounds may be released. Adequate ventilation and appropriate processing controls should therefore be maintained.
PA6 is hygroscopic and readily absorbs moisture from the environment. Store the material in a cool, dry, sealed, and moisture-protected environment. After opening, the resin should be used promptly or properly dried before processing. The required moisture level should follow the specific grade's processing recommendations.
