Product Description
Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) is typically supplied as white to off-white translucent fine particles or powder with a high degree of crystallinity. It is a tough, durable fluoropolymer with a smooth surface and is generally odorless.
PVDF has a melting temperature of approximately 160–170°C and forms a transparent molten material when heated above its melting range. It is insoluble in water but soluble in certain polar organic solvents, including DMF and NMP.
PVDF offers excellent chemical resistance, weather resistance, thermal stability, and radiation resistance. It also exhibits piezoelectric and dielectric properties, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in the chemical processing, electronics, electrical, membrane, battery, and advanced materials industries.
