Product Description
Aminotris(Methylenephosphonic Acid) (ATMP) is a highly effective organophosphonic acid with excellent chelating, threshold inhibition, and crystal lattice distortion properties. It effectively inhibits the formation of scale-forming salts in water, particularly calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) scale.
ATMP has good chemical stability in water and is resistant to hydrolysis. At relatively high concentrations, it also provides effective corrosion inhibition for metal surfaces.

Application Scenarios
ATMP is widely used in industrial water treatment systems, including circulating cooling water systems in thermal power plants and oil refineries, as well as oilfield reinjection water systems. It helps reduce corrosion and scale formation in metal equipment, pipelines, heat exchangers, and other water-handling facilities.
In the textile and dyeing industries, ATMP can be used as a metal-ion chelating agent. It is also suitable for applications such as metal surface treatment and other industrial processes requiring effective metal-ion sequestration.
Solid ATMP is available as white granular particles. It is readily soluble in water and has good moisture absorption properties. The solid form is convenient for transportation, storage, and handling, making it particularly suitable for use in cold and winter-prone regions.
