Natamycin

Ultra-Broad Spectrum Antifungal Performance – Natamycin is a natural polyene macrolide antifungal substance with potent inhibitory effects against most molds and yeasts, including Aspergillus, Penicillium, Fusarium and Candida. It targets fungi specifically without interfering with beneficial bacteria.

Unique Targeted Inhibition Mechanism – It selectively binds to ergosterol in fungal cell membranes, destroying membrane integrity and blocking nutrient transport such as glucose and amino acids. This precise inhibition effectively restrains fungal reproduction and growth.

Safe & Natural Food-Grade Preservative – Produced via microbial fermentation of Streptomyces natalensis, the product is odorless, tasteless and colorless. It features high safety, no permeation into food interiors, and does not affect original flavor and natural maturation of food.

Dual Food & Medical Application Value – It serves as both a high-efficiency food anti-mold preservative and a classic clinical antifungal agent, with stable efficacy and mature safety verification system.

Product Description

Natamycin, also named Pimaricin, is a natural fermentation-derived antifungal raw material. Different from broad-spectrum bactericides, it only acts on fungi while retaining bacterial activity, making it uniquely suitable for fermented food preservation and clinical fungal infection treatment.
