Product Description
PAA (Polyacrylic Acid) is a water-soluble polymer and highly effective dispersant widely used in industrial water treatment and various chemical processing applications.
PAA is non-toxic and readily soluble in water. It can be used under alkaline conditions and at moderate concentration cycles while helping to control scale formation.
By dispersing fine crystals of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and other sparingly soluble salts, as well as suspended solids and sediment, PAA helps prevent these particles from agglomerating and depositing on heat-transfer surfaces and pipelines.
PAA is a widely used scale inhibitor and dispersant for industrial circulating cooling water systems, including applications in:
· Power plants
· Chemical plants
· Fertilizer plants
· Oil refineries
· Central air-conditioning and cooling systems
In addition to water treatment, PAA is widely used in a variety of industries, including paper manufacturing, textile processing, dyeing and printing, ceramics, coatings, and construction materials.

Application Scenarios
1. Industrial Circulating Cooling Water
PAA is widely used as a scale inhibitor and dispersant in circulating cooling water systems, including:
· Power plant cooling water
· Chemical plant circulating water
· Fertilizer plant cooling water
· Refinery cooling water
· Central air-conditioning cooling systems
· Industrial heat-transfer and cooling systems
PAA helps disperse fine mineral particles and suspended solids, reducing their tendency to agglomerate and deposit on heat exchangers, pipelines, and other equipment surfaces.
2. Paper Industry
PAA can be used as a dispersant and process aid in papermaking applications, helping improve the dispersion of fine particles and inorganic materials.
3. Textile, Printing & Dyeing
PAA can be used as a dispersing and processing aid in textile manufacturing, printing, and dyeing processes.
4. Ceramics, Coatings & Construction Materials
PAA is also used as a dispersant in:
· Ceramic formulations
