Diacetoneacrylamide

Dual Functional Reactive Structure – Featuring unique N-substituted amide and ketone functional groups in a single molecular structure, this specialty vinyl monomer delivers diverse chemical reactivity, supporting customized modification and functional upgrading of polymer materials.

Superior Copolymerization Compatibility – It exhibits excellent polymerization activity and can readily copolymerize with ethylene and various vinyl monomers. This process stably introduces ketocarbonyl groups into polymer molecular chains, endowing materials with reactive modification sites.

Product Description

Diacetone acrylamide contains two highly reactive functional groups: an N-substituted amide group and a ketone group. It readily copolymerizes with ethylene and other vinyl monomers, enabling the effective incorporation of ketocarbonyl functionalities into polymer chains.

Through the reactivity of these ketocarbonyl groups, polymers can participate in crosslinking and grafting reactions, making them suitable for the production of adhesives, thickeners, paper strengthening agents, crosslinkers, and more.

This product is widely applied in coatings, adhesives, daily chemical formulations, epoxy resin curing systems, photosensitive resin modifiers, textile additives, as well as medical and healthcare materials.
