Product Description
Direct Pigment Yellow 3 is a fine powder pigment presenting a bright greenish pale yellow tone with superior color stability. It achieves solubility in ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents under heating conditions. Chemically, it turns yellow in concentrated sulfuric acid, yet keeps stable color properties in concentrated nitric acid, concentrated hydrochloric acid and dilute sodium hydroxide solutions. Boasting reliable light and thermal stability, this product is exclusively designed for scientific research scenarios, excluding medical diagnosis and therapeutic applications.
This pigment features a total solid content of 55% and a pigment solid content of 40%, with a neutral pH range of 6–8. It delivers comprehensive premium fastness performance: wash staining fastness at grade 4–5, wash fading fastness at grade 3–4, dry rubbing fastness at grade 3–4, wet rubbing fastness at grade 3, and both acid and alkali resistance rated at grade 4. In terms of temperature tolerance, it withstands 180 °C at 6% dosage and 160 °C at 1% dosage. Additionally, it attains top-tier grade 7 light fastness and grade 7 weather resistance, guaranteeing long-term stable color performance for various applications.
