In the household and cleaning products industry, it is commonly used as a key active ingredient in laundry detergents, dishwashing liquids, and other household cleaning formulations. Depending on the specific formulation, it can account for approximately 40%–70% of the total active surfactant content.
Alkylbenzene sulfonate provides excellent emulsification and cleaning performance, particularly for removing oils and grease. It also helps disperse dirt effectively and rinses away easily, leaving minimal residue on cleaned surfaces.
