Product Description
PO-710 Non-Oxidizing Biocide is a broad-spectrum, highly effective biocide formulated for microbial control in industrial water treatment systems.
Its active ingredients are a blend of isothiazolinones and their derivatives. PO-710 has strong penetration into microbial cell membranes and can disrupt and decompose cellular structures, providing effective control against a broad range of common bacteria, fungi, and algae.
The product is suitable for industrial applications where efficient microbial control and slime management are required.
Directions for Use
PO-710 is generally applied by shock dosing.
The typical dosage is:
100–200 ppm
At the recommended dosage range, PO-710 provides effective control and elimination of microbial growth, including bacteria and algae.
When heavy algae growth is present and rapid algae detachment is required, the dosage may be increased appropriately according to actual system conditions.
After treatment, detached algae, slime, and other floating debris should be removed promptly to prevent re-deposition within the water system.
For enhanced microbial control, alternating the application of non-oxidizing and oxidizing biocides can be used as part of a comprehensive water treatment program.
The actual dosage and treatment frequency should be determined according to water quality, microbial loading, system operating conditions, and seasonal variations.
Packaging, Storage and Handling
PO-710 is supplied in plastic drums, typically:

Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated indoor area, away from direct sunlight and incompatible materials.
Recommended storage period: 12 months under proper storage conditions.
PO-710 is corrosive and may cause irritation to the skin and eyes. Appropriate personal protective equipment should be worn during handling.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately and thoroughly with plenty of clean water.
